i find it very ironical how the uchiha embody what hagoromo claimed to value the most and was the reason of why he chose ashura as his successor. he asked his sons what was the most important thing for them or what did they think a good ruler should have, ashura answered love and indra answered power, yet it was the uchiha clan, indra's descendents who valued love more than anything, to the point where they would go mad if they lost their loved ones and awaken new powers, not senju, ashura's descendents.
